100% Human Generated

Mark my words... this is going to be a marketing thing in the future.  Like how food is labeled organic.  And since we are what we consume, (not just what we eat, but what we read, what we view, what we spend time with) I think it should be.

It's already something that I wonder about when I'm doom scrolling at 3am (thanks perimenopause)  Is this even real?

As an artist and a writer, I have my feelings about AI, which I won't bore you with.  But as someone who shoots film, prefers vinyl, writes her own books, creates her own art... you can probably figure out my stance.

For me, writing is how I've processed a lot of what I've gone through and continue to struggle with.  And creating art has taught me so much about how I treat myself in my own mind. These have been invaluable processes that I wouldn't hand over to anyone or anything else because it helps me to evolve and expand as a human, which I feel is my purpose here.  And I do think that you can feel the subject more when looking at a film photo.  You can feel the music more when listening to vinyl.  And the message hits more when you read a book or look at a piece of art that is infused with the human experience.

That is what I place value on.  This life isn't a destination.  It's the experiences you have on your way to the places you go.  Then you realize, "Oh shit.  This isn't where I want to be at all!" and reroute.  For more experiences.  More expansion.  And most importantly, more wisdom to gain and share with more people in this shared experience.

That's why my books are helping people.  They aren't a prompt that I plugged in to a machine that then spit out words that all sound well and good until there's a sentence that makes absolutely no sense, or brackets where human experience was supposed to be inserted by a human and they just didn't bother, or it's just flat out fucking wrong.

My books are written for my own kids, with so much love infused in them that when I read them, to this day, I still choke up every time.  And people often tell me that they cry when the read them, as well (in a good way).

That's why people feel seen.  Feel inspired.  Feel empowered.  And feel hopeful through some of the most hopeless scenarios.  Because the shit that we went through that led to the lessons and love in my books?  That shit is real.

So like, ya... my shit is real.  Real human experience.  Real human love.  And I think that matters.  So I'm labeling it as such, so anyone else who feels the same way and values real, can know.
