Talks with Dr. Shafer - Interview

This was my first interview with a fellow survivor of Narcissistic Abuse.  It was really interesting to hear her take on my books, how they've helped her and her daughter, and even more ways we can all work to move past the stories we tell about ourselves, subconsciously, and start telling the stories we want for ourselves.

My biggest takeaway - space.  Giving those we love the time and space needed to experience, process, grieve, heal and then integrate.  That's a BIG process... that requires big space.  I inherently know that, and embody that in one book specifically.  But I'd never had anyone really point out how much power that had for them.  And it's turning out it's got power for me too, that I need to lean into now more than ever.
