The Antidote is in the Poison

The Antidote is in the Poison

For me, right now, my poison is silence. It doesn't even feel a choice. It is strangling. Heavy. It feels too much to carry, often. And pushes me until I almost break. But safety for those I love comes first.

So, silence.

I've recently felt like the silence is my illness. The silence is killing me.

But the antidote is in the poison.

In silence, I listen. In silence, I gain clarity. In silence, the truth of my path unfolds with certainty. In silence, I wait, until the time is right for the story to be told, and the shame to be given to whom it belongs.

Until then; silence.

But not forever.
